LARNAKA’S MUSIC ECOSYSTEM

Larnaka 2030 calls on the city’s music ecosystem in conversation

Calling all participants and co-creators of Larnaka's music ecosystem:

Larnaka 2030’s candidacy for the European Capital of Culture shares an open invitation for all music professionals in Larnaka to engage in conversation together on Tuesday, 25 April at 18:30.

Musicians, songwriters, industry workers, composers, music producers, sound engineers, music critics, venue curators, music officers, and all musical collaborators from Larnaka are invited to innovate together.

Further info:

This group aims to centralise the artists of Larnaca who create music, and foster symbiotic dialogues between all collaborators and co-creators involved in enlivening the Hub’s music ecosystem. Our goal is to nourish, celebrate and sustain the variety of both the heritage and the ongoing cultural innovation of Larnaca’s music ecosystem today.

We recognise the dynamic role that music plays in the lives of Larnaca’s community, artists, social workers, health workers, teachers, the night-time economy, and our cultural identity. The Hub aims to sustainably expand the careers of Larnaca’s music ecosystem, to naturalise and imprint the benefits of music for all of Larnaca’s audiences.

Further discussions aiming to initiate Larnaka’s Music Ecosystem took place, followed by an initiative by the Public Space & Social Art working groups alongside Larnaka’s Music Ecosystem.
