Kalesma is a six-member vocal ensemble focusing on the intricacies of the voice, vocal performance and research of Cypriot and Greek folk music and composition. The ensemble aims to bridge local traditions closer to contemporary creation while strongly referencing Cypriot poetry. Performances include throughout Cyprus as well as at Rialto World Music Festival and Fengaros Festival.
